My name is Kate, and I am proud to say that I am the Centre Director of Hippity Hop Early Learning Pakenham. I have been in this Industry for 23 years and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I started out my journey as an assistant educator and have worked my way through to a Lead Educator, Centre Manager, Operations Manager and then found my way back to a Centre Manager as I missed the daily interactions with families, staff and most of all the Children.
There is something amazingly special about caring for and being able to provide a high-quality education to other people’s children. I feel truly blessed at being a fundamental part of these children’s lives, watching them grow and develop, enjoying their achievements and milestones, wiping away the tears and being a part of the smiles and laughter of each day. I have a strong belief that every child should be given the opportunity to learn and live in a safe, secure and healthy environment so being able to offer a service that can provide that is so important to me. I pride myself on building strong partnerships with my team as well as our families and want them all to know I’m here should they ever need to chat..

Enrichment program- The children engage in external community programs to extend on their learning, this includes walking excursions such as to the local shops, local park. Weekly van excursion.
Qualified chef onsite who cooks freshly cooked meals every day.
Centre pets- they live onsite are loved by the children. (Turtle and blue tonged lizards).
Centre Van- We have access to a centre van for mini excursions.
Our Happy Haven- we work closely with Our Happy Haven, located in Pakenham. This is a not for profit before and after school care program.
Long serving team members with 60% over the 5 year mark and numerous staff over 10 year mark.
Big open airy rooms
All our staff are trained in full first aid not just the minimum requirement of having one on site at all times.
Virtues Program- We teach children virtuous skills and behaviour that they can use for life.

My little one has been attending Hippity Hop in Yarrambat for coming up to 2 years now and I couldn't be happier. As a parent, I feel so fortunate to have found Hippity Hop, I adore the educators who are all so lovely and caring.
